First and foremost, Happy Republic Day!

Ministry kindly asks you to remove all the expired posters from the informational boards located in the dormitory hallways, elevator lobbies, and in other non-residential premises (Main Atrium, Library hallways).

We remind you that anyone can remove the posters after the expiration date (+1 day) so other clubs can place their new posters.

However, it is the club's own responsibility to manage posters, and if there are persistent violations, the club can lose the access to printing services provided by Student Fund.

Let's keep up the efforts to make our common info boards nice and neat!

Dear male students,

This is to inform you that you must have military registration in Astana (военкоматы Есильского, Алматинского, Сарыаркинского и Байконурского районов).

All campus male residents MUST have registered in Yessil district’s enlistment office online through egov.kz

After you get a military registration please fill out the FORM in order to obtain a spravka #3 (справка для предоставления отсрочки от призыва).

Deadline: 25th of October, 2022.

Note: certificates (spravka #3) for other regions will not be issued. Ашу / Түсініктеме

Some students received a fine (штраф) due to problems with temporary residence registration.

Thus, we kindly ask you to fill out this form if you received a fine due to some reasons related to the military registration, and have concerns on this matter. This is to help our ministry to address your issues to the Department of Student Services.

Please be kindly informed that your concern regarding the reorganization of Block 22 is well received.

Relocation

As DSS have stated during the Town Hall meeting, the relocation process will happen as usual. Year 1 UG students will not be forced to move into Block 22. You may choose any roommate you want and relocate according to your relocation path. The application period will start from October 17 until October 21. The relocation itself is from October 26 until October 28.

Reorganization of Block 22

Block 22 will be reorganized this semester (by the end of October or in November). USM will replace one bed in the room with the Bunk bed. However, all students in Block 22 will live by 2 until the end of the 2022-2023 Academic year. Basically, in this academic year, none of the students will be living by 3 in Blocks 22-27. However, it is most likely that in the end of this academic year, all students will have to check out with all of their belongings.

Accommodation of GrM students

According to the decision of the Task Force on Student Accommodation, Year 1 GrM and NUZYP students will be accommodated by 4 in Blocks 11 and 19. Year 2 GrM students will be accommodated in Blocks 22-27. Approved students will get the room numbers by the end of October 10. NUZYP and GrM students should show recent negative PCR test results at the reception and upload it later in the form provided by HSE.

Dear students,

Nazarbayev University Department of Student Services (DSS) kindly informs you of the procedure of temporary registration for students with Kazakhstani citizenship at student dormitories by address: Kabanbay batyr ave., 53, “Yessil” district, Nur-Sultan.

This is to inform you that DSS in cooperation with PSC (ЦОН) registers campus residents automatically (without your presence).

The registration process started on September 14, and it is still in process.

You can check your registration status on egov.kz (личный кабинет - адреса).

After the registration, MALE students MUST have a military registration at the Yessil District’s enlistment office (военкомат), which can be done online and offline.

You can check your military registration on egov.kz (личный кабинет - воинский учет).

How to do it online?
1) You have to have EDS (ЭЦП) or eGov Mobile downloaded on your device to get this service.
2) Go to the EGOV, find the service: Постановка и снятие с воинского учета военнообязанных и призывников.
3) Order the service online.
4) Choose a category (in general (1st category): для граждан, из числа призывников, при смене места жительства).
5) Indicate the enlistment office you have been registered in (в каком У(О)ДО* состоите на воинском учете).
6) Indicate the enlistment office you registered for the first time (в каком У(О)ДО проходили приписку в первый раз).
7) Indicate the enlistment office* you want to register (У(О)ДО постановки на воинский учет).
8) Sign (Перейти к подписанию).

The deadline: as soon as possible :)

Be advised, failure to change the military registration within 7 days after the change of residence registration is an administrative offence according to Article 647 of Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Administrative Offenses.

Note:
* У(О)ДО - управление (отдел) по делам обороны - военкомат
* for campus residents - УДО Есильского района г.Нур-Султан;
for others - according to districts (Есильский, Сарыаркинский, Алматинский или Байконурский районы г.Нур-Султан)
