Recently, the "Altai News" newspaper reported "Mongolian Kazakhs' Union for the Support of the Language and Culture" was established in Bayan-Ulgii province.
The purpose of the Union is to support the implementation of laws and policies adopted by the state in the field of language and culture, and to protect, improve, study, promote the native language of the Mongolian Kazakhs, to monitor the implementation of laws adopted for this purpose.
Sabyet Nasyr was elected Chairman of the Board of the "Mongolian Kazakhs' Union for the Support of the Language and Culture", and Nurbolat Onyerkhan was elected Executive Director.
The public organization plans to carry out the following activities this year:
- Organization of the Olympiad on the Kazakh language and literature named after the Honored Teacher of Mongolia Bayilkhan Niyaz;
- Opening of the "Kazakh Studies Center" in the regional branch of Kobda University;
- Conducting online competitions aimed at improving children's language, speaking and narration skills;
- Testing the best work of art of the year, handcrafts, books, yurts, supporter of language and culture, awarding the teacher of the Kazakh language and literature with the prize "AMANAT";
- Holding a scientific conference on the language, culture and history of Mongolian Kazakhs;
- Development of content (videos, photos, articles, interviews, etc.), special lectures on the rights of minorities, protection of language and culture, the importance of development;
- Compilation of a collection on the history of Mongolian Kazakhs
- Development of proposals for bilingual education and increase the number of hours of Kazakh language and literature in schools, submit them to the relevant institutions, monitor their implementation.
