Guys & gals, I seem to have finally found a US counterpart of our famous cliché destroyer Nazgul Kozhabekova.
Above are some of the most annoying business cliché for you to know (if you didn't) and to avoid using at all costs in the future.
It just struck me, that most of what is wrong with our modern Kazakh is not so much about the lack of knowledge or skills, but the lack of common sense and and about the temptation to sound smarter than we think we are.
But to the trained ear that listens to good speakers and an eye that reads fine literature you actually sound dumber than you are.

The very first reason that we have to deal with so many phrases that sound foreign, is that we, kazakhs, have been handling our documents and using kazakh in official business setting for only a couple of decades.
Kazakh had to catch up with all the russian cliches and stamps in business and government affairs, and in doing so we had to cover thousands and thousands and thousands of concepts and phrases. Before, Kazakh Language was not an official language of our country, that is why only struggled to translate highly technical terms. But business language and the flow of documents became a reality several years after we got our independence.

And that trend will not slow down any time soon. We might just switch the source language (English is the obvious candidate ).
Which makes this list all the more interesting and useful.
