Стартап бастаушыларға арналған өте мықты инсайттар

After I reached 200 Podcast/YT episodes with over 100 Startup CEOs, I wanted to share with you the top 6 takeaways and what I learned.

Check it out

1. Every CEO I spoke to had exceptional strengths and significant weaknesses. They doubled down on their strengths and offset their weaknesses by either getting a Co-Founder or hiring staff to support them.

This taught me to lean into my strengths and lean into someone else for my shortcomings.

2. I can't recall a single Founder that had overnight success. Each Founder had failures in their previous startup, job or tangential experience.

This taught me that having failures doesn't make you a failure.

3. Every interviewee struggled significantly at different points in their life. Nobody had the perfect plan built from day 1. After multiple iterations, pivots, trial and error, they discovered their vision, passion, and value.

This taught me that every successful Founder is trying to make something out of nothing and is figuring it out as they go.

4. There are many ways to create a successful GTM (go-to-market) strategy and execution plan. For example, there are Sales, Product Community, Partner, Value, Marketplace, Pricing, and Content GTM strategies (to only name a few.)

This taught me that there is no single cheat code to growth but that it depends on the strengths of the Founder and the early team.

5. If you constantly interview and deconstruct what the world's most successful SAAS Ceos are doing, you will repeatedly receive insights that are non-Googleable.

This taught me that the value is not only in the best strategies and tactics but in the belief structures of the people that use those strategies and tactics.

6. Some of the most enormous benefits I received by interviewing the best weren't what I expected, and they were even better than I imagined.

This taught me that life could create strategic by-products of friends, trusted advisors, partnerships, and clients when you least expect it.

EDIT: I noticed I forgot to include access as a key point. If you help the people you serve through your audience, you can connect with some of the hardest-to-reach people in the world.

EDIT:I am getting a lot of dms asking so here is a link to the show. If you are 5m+ Arr or have your series A dm me and I would love to have people on from this community if it’s a fit.

Also, I had Aaron Krall on the show before I shifted to Saas CEOs and he crushed it

That's it for now! I hope this was helpful because I know there are many earlier in the journey than those I interviewed.
