i was far away from home alone for such a long period of time for the first time, and honestly, it felt soo nice. to be liberated from my parents’s expectations that they try to enforce on me, for 6 weeks. to be set free from my anxiety about college apps. intense pace of ssp and constant deadlines on problem sets made me forget that there’s a world beyond the ssp bubble. the bubble, in which i felt myself so comfortable. in which we were learning things for the learning’s sake. in which we were struggling together at the crash courses on topics, to which we haven’t been exposed before. struggling, yet enjoying them, and laughing at peter’s “super simple, super easy”, believing that at some point, it will actually be the way we perceive those concepts
